Hosted at The Barn KT9 in Malden Rushett our farm-style fitness event combines strength, grit and team spirit in an unforgettable outdoor setting. Think farm inspired workouts, framed by a countryside backdrop, paired with excellent grub for refuelling, and, of course, unbeatable community vibes!

ABOUT

Gather a team of four fabulous females and bring the energy - expect a full day of competition featuring four challenging, yet inclusive, workouts; you'll take on gym equipment including tyres, rowers, worms and barbells. Each workout will test different aspects of fitness and push you to your limits.
Between workouts you can recharge at our on-site Cafe, we'll be serving up refreshments throughout the day alongside some brilliant local street food trucks

HOW IT WORKS
- Form a team of four (female only)
- Hosted on Saturday 5th July 9am-4pm, with on site access from 8am
- You'll complete 4 workouts across the day, the workouts will be anywhere between 5-20 mins
- First heat starts at 9am sharp! There are 5 heats per workout
- You'll have time between workouts to enjoy your surroundings and grab refreshments
- Podium style prizegiving for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the end of the day
- Feel free to bring your cheerleaders with you. Spectator tickets are £5 (free for Barn Members and U15s if accompanied by an adult)
- Your team ticket includes one parking space, however more can be purchased if required. On-site parking is limited​​

What's included in the ticket?
Your ticket covers entry for your team of four, 1 parking space plus a limited edition goody bag each.
Can team members be substituted before the event?
Yes. Once you have purchased a ticket for 4 people you can add your team members at any time. The member can be changed at any point. All team members competing must complete a waiver.
What happens if I don’t have a full team?
Please let us know and we can forward you a link to the Whatsapp community group where you may find others looking for a team!

Will the workouts be released in advance?
The workouts will be released prior to the event by June, so keep your eyes peeled!

How will points be scored? Points will be scored differently in each workout. It may be scored on number of reps/metres/calories completed or kilograms lifted, time it takes to complete the workout or position the team finishes in the heats.

Will there be prizes? There will be prizes for those that place 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

Can gyms enter multiple teams? Absolutely!

If this is an intermediate event, what does ‘Intermediate’ actually mean?
“Intermediate” refers to athletes who train regularly and have a solid foundation in strength, conditioning, and movement skills. You can handle moderate-to-high intensity workouts, perform most standard exercises with good technique. Intermediate level typically involves challenging but manageable weights, higher volume than beginner, and fewer modifications—testing both your fitness and your ability to pace yourself effectively.

Do all team members need to be the same level?
No, we want to include as many people as possible, team mates can split the work depending on their strengths.
Will there be scaled options? As this is an intermediate event there won’t be scaled options. If you have a limiting injury please let our team know in advance.

When is the athlete briefing? The briefing will be at 8.30am. Your team captain must attend the briefing but all athletes are welcome.

What time does the event start?
Gates open at 7:45am for athlete registration and 8.30am to spectators and close at 6pm. The first round of workouts start at 9am and the heats will finish by 4pm when the podium winners will be announced. There will be 4 workouts in total over the course of the day.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
It is outdoors but will be under an old aircraft hangar (which is under cover) plus on various areas around tbhe Farm.

What if it rains?
Events will go ahead but any workouts will be held under the Hangar where required.
What do I need to bring?
Although not essential you may want to consider bringing warm clothes, suncream, workout gloves, a change of clothes, a water bottle.

Are spectators allowed?
Yes of course, we would love family and friends to cheer on the athletes and enjoy the atmosphere. Spectators are able to enter the venue from 8.30am. Spectators over 15 years can buy their tickets through Momence here. Barn Monthly Members and Children under 15 are FREE but will still need to obtain a ticket here

How do I get to The Barn?
The Barn KT9 is located at Rushett Farm, Leatherhead Road, Chessington KT9 2NH. Access is by walking or cycling only, unless you're booked into a class or event. Each team entry includes one parking ticket. If you need additional spaces, you can book them here.
For Public Transport, the 465 bus stops outside the farm at The Shy Horse, or we’re a 25-30 minute walk from Ashtead Station.
Is there parking? A limited number of tickets are available for parking on site. Please book a parking spot here
What are the facilities on site? There is a Cafe and some food vendors available on site. Toilets are in the gym block. Please see site map for more details.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are allowed but need to be kept on a lead at all times.
​
Is it cash or card? Please bring cash as well as card. There is no cash machine at the venue.
​
Can I bring food and drink?
You can if you would like. Athletes can bring in food and water/supplements if they wish. There will be a number of food vendors on site with some excellent food to purchase.

Can I bring in alcohol?
We don’t allow byob on site, however you can purchase drinks at the Cafe on site

Is there a bag drop? There will be no bag drop as such, athletes will be able to leave their bags nearby in the gym/changing rooms or can leave it with someone. Bags will not be allowed inside a workout arena. Bags left will be done at your own risk. We cannot take responsibility for personal belongings.

Are tickets refundable or transferable? Tickets are not refundable, however you can transfer if another person/team would like your place. They do have to sign a waiver if this does happen.

What happens if we can’t attend?
Please let us know if this is the case. Tickets will not be refundable but you could transfer it if you know someone who would like your ticket.

Do we need to sign a waiver? Yes, waivers must be signed prior to the event.
What age can participate? Participants will need to be 18+
